Week 3 Legacy Christian Academy defeats Dallas HSAA 30-7

Legacy Christian Academy Stays Perfect with Dominant 30-7 Win Over Dallas HSAA

Legacy Christian Academy (LCA) continued its undefeated run with a 30-7 victory over Dallas HSAA on September 12, 2025, showcasing a balanced attack and a defense that refused to bend. The non-district matchup highlighted LCA’s depth on both sides of the ball and extended the Eagles’ winning streak over Dallas HSAA to three straight games.

Fast Start and Offensive Firepower

From the opening kick, Legacy Christian Academy set the tempo. Quarterback Jacob Koon distributed the ball efficiently, while playmakers Brennan Baze and Sam Jones kept the chains moving and the scoreboard ticking. Their combined effort powered an offense that never lost momentum, helping LCA improve to a 3-0 season record. Kicker Jack Dygas hits a record 64 yard field which ties for 6th longest in high school fields all-time.

Defensive Domination

Legacy’s defense was relentless. Ayden Riley anchored the unit with 11 tackles, including four tackles for loss, and added a key sack. Sam Jones and Bubba Barnes joined the pressure campaign, combining for three more sacks. The secondary tightened the screws as well, holding Dallas HSAA to a 44.8% completion rate and preventing any big plays downfield.

What’s Next

With a decisive win over Dallas HSAA, Legacy Christian Academy football remains a team to watch in the 2025 season. Sitting at 3-0, the Eagles look poised to continue their climb in the Texas high school football rankings.
